Bufumbira East legislator Dr. James Buturo Nsaba has broken silence on the sanctions he has secretly battled since the enactment of the anti-homosexuality act. The former minister of ethics and integrity, in the 8th parliament, is among the members of the 11th August house that passed the anti-homosexuality bill on 2nd May 2023 and signed into law by the president of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, on 26th May.
Buturo, who was speaking as a guest of honor at the fundraising by the choirs under the diocese of Muhabura yesterday, Saturday, 28th December 2024, at St. Andrew’s Seseme Cathedral, revealed all he is battling because of his position on foreign policies.
The enactment succeeded amidst criticisms from several human rights defenders within Uganda and foreign countries. The anti-homosexuality act attracted several measures from foreign countries, such as the United States of America, with the measures including suspending aid to Uganda and sanctioning several leaders.
Dr. Buturo James, without citing a formal document, has since the passing of the anti-homosexuality act battled the sanctions imposed by foreign countries such as the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. He nevertheless thanked the Almighty God for holding him firm despite all those human threats imposed.
He thus asked the church to stick to the cultural norms and values, to preach against such policies, and to also emphasize liberation amongst believers.

“USA,UK,Canada,Australia. They listed me as a person against their policies. But God touched me, and I stood firm,James said.
Buturo as well talked about the foreign measures taken to terminate and deprive Africans. He highlighted such measures as the introduction of genetically modified seeds and the application of fertiliser and other chemicals as agricultural inputs. According to Buturo, all the measures are aimed at exhaustion of fertility and yielding of non-nutritious yields.
He further remarked that the jealous foreigners have modified pandemics and other epidemics to subsequently market their vaccines. The dismayed Buturo said that some of those vaccines contain deadly components aimed at imposing health threats such as infertility rates amongst Africans.Â
Buturo supplemented that all these are in line with their new world order targets aimed at making sure that Africans deviate from the Almighty God.
“Foreigners aren’t good; they’ve used all means of terminating Africans & making sure they deviate from God. They have introduced vaccines, genetically modified seeds, and LGBTQ alongside exploiting our resources. We thus have to stand against such,” Buturo added.
He, however, depicted consternation over all the disorders happening in Uganda, under the watchful eye of the learned fellows in the country. Buturo added that its so disappointing that some of the leaders can’t stand against all these envious acts, yet they are in total knowledge of what’s happening.
His worries also implicated the serious problems befalling the country, such as corruption and embezzlement of funds as well as alcoholism.
He accordingly entreated all the able-bodied and knowledgeable fellas to stand against such proposed new world order by the foreigners.
