Kampala, Uganda | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, extended a warm welcome today to Mr. Okitoi Robert Erisat, the General Secretary of the UPC in Amuria district, as he officially joined the ruling party. Mr. Okitoy’s reception took place at the NRM headquarters located at Plot 10 on Kyadondo Road in Nakasero.

SG Todwong presented Mr. Okitoi with essential materials, including the NRM constitution, manifesto, and branded shirts, while encouraging him to study and grasp the fundamental principles of the ruling party.

“These items I am offering you signify your full membership in the NRM, and I urge you to thoroughly acquaint yourself with our ideology,” remarked Todwong. He went on to congratulate Mr. Okitoi for making the wise decision to join their ranks, emphasizing, “You are welcome, and please consider this your home.”

In response, Mr. Okitoi explained that he chose to align himself with the NRM because he believes it holds the key to the future. “The well-considered choice I have made is based on the positive aspects I see within the NRM,” Okitoi expressed.
