Hoima, Uganda | The Black Examiner – NRM Leaders Intensify Campaigns for Hoima By-Election Candidate, Uthuman Mugisha Mubaraka, Ahead of Thursday’s Vote

As the Hoima by-election on Thursday, the 14th of this week, approaches, NRM leaders have stepped up their efforts to support their party’s candidate, Uthuman Mugisha Mubaraka. The NRM camp, led by Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja and Deputy Secretary General Rose Namayanja, made a compelling appeal for voter support in Kyabigambire Sub County and Bulindi town council this Sunday.

Prime Minister Nabbanja emphasized that while the government is committed to delivering improved services to Hoima, achieving this goal depends on having an NRM cadre as the district Chairman. She urged voters to elect Mugisha, citing promises of safe water, quality healthcare, and enhanced school infrastructure.

Ms. Nabbanja also encouraged the population to maintain calm and peaceful conduct during the campaigns, emphasizing that violence only leads to destruction.

Deputy Secretary General Rt. Hon. Rose Namayanja highlighted Mugisha’s suitability as a candidate due to his youthful energy and willingness to learn quickly. She emphasized NRM’s mission to create an inclusive government that bridges generational gaps and urged voters to prioritize NRM candidates, highlighting the benefits of belonging to a political party.

NRM candidate Uthuman Mugisha Mubaraka pledged to ensure transparency in the implementation of government projects if elected Chairman. He stressed the importance of scrutinizing projects, such as road construction, health centers, and schools funded with public resources. Mugisha also promised to expedite access to Parish development models and Emyooga funds to boost household incomes.
