  • Odonga Otto, a former MP turned Political Philosopher, predicts the demise of the National Unity Platform (NUP), stating it won’t gain substantial support in Northern Uganda, Western, and Eastern regions.

Former Aruu county Member of Parliament turned Political Philosopher, Odonga Otto says that the National Unity Platform party is gone and it will never pick up substantial support in Northern Uganda as well as Western and Eastern .

In the Central it’s on its final stages because I can assure you come 2026 NUP will be no more easy come easy go. He further said the cause of NUP collapse is because its party president bobi wine is a very unserious person who entered into politics by mistake.

Odonga Otto further believes the collapse of NUP is because people have returned to their tribal trenches, and this could be a result of the controversial charcoal trade in the region which is done by people from the central which natives call bobi wine people.
