Kampala, Uganda | THE BLACK EXAMINER | The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has announced the temporary closure of vital road junctions in the city for essential reconstruction. The Mbuya junction along PortBell Road, linking Kampala to Bugolobi, Nakawa, and Luzira, will be inaccessible from November 11th to November 15th, 2023, causing inconvenience for drivers and cyclists.

Motorists are advised to follow alternative routes indicated by diversion signs to minimize disruptions. KCCA apologizes for any inconvenience caused and urges road users to plan their travels accordingly during the closure.

In a press conference on November 9th, 2023, KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka addressed various city issues, emphasizing preparations for hosting the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) conference.
