Hoima, Uganda | The Black Examiner – Michael Kyakashari, the Hoima deputy Resident District Commissioner has warned candidates who currently canvassing for votes in Hoima district LCV by election against using abusive languages.
Five candidates Patrick Musiguzi of Forum for Democratic Change, Uthman Mubarak Mugisa, the ruling NRM flag bearer, Lenox Mugume and Vincent Savanna Muhumuza independent candidates, Moses Aguuda of the opposition National Unity Platform party are vying to fill the Hoima district LCV seat which fell vacant following the death of Kadiri Kirungi, the former chairman who perished in road accident recently.
Kyakashari says as security, they need to have peaceful campaigns adding that use of abusive language results into violence.
He also warns candidates against holding campaigns at night.
