The Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court has sent nine individuals to the High Court for trial. These individuals are accused of being members of ADF and plotting the attack on Busiika police station, as well as subsequent attacks on various police stations across the country.
The nine suspects are as follows:
- Moses Katende Asuman, also known as Mao, aged 19, a chapatti maker from Kawempe.
- Abdulatif Balikoowa, alias Kyalimpa, aged 54, a hawker from Maganjo Kawempe.
- Adam Weduma Guloba, aged 24, a hawker from Angola zone in Kawempe.
- Faizal Musana, aged 19, a shoe vendor from Busei village in Iganga district.
- Abdurahman Kabwiso, alias Kiyuka.
- Faisal Musana, alias Mwanje.
- Afusa Namwase.
- Rahma Namuganza.
- Aida Nakamatte.
These individuals, along with others who are still at large, are accused of orchestrating the attack on Busiika police station in Luweero district, where three police officers were killed, firearms were stolen, and an office was set on fire. They are charged with terrorism under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2002 for detonating explosives against the Principal Judge’s convoy, resulting in injuries to several officers in the attack that took place in April 2022.
Additionally, they face charges related to several other murders in Kyabadaaza, Butambala district, attacks on petrol stations, supermarkets, and hardware stores across the country to rob cash and firearms. The group is accused of affiliating with the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a designated terrorist organization, in various parts of the country, including Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi, Luweero, Masaka, Namayingo, Iganga, and western Uganda.
These suspects are also charged with aggravated robbery for stealing firearms from police officers and private security guards and subsequently using these weapons in multiple other robberies nationwide.

A summary of the evidence against them was presented in court, and they were remanded to Luzira prison pending their High Court trial.
