Eperu died at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at LifeLink Hospital in Namugongo where she was rushed for medical treatment.

Eperu’s son, Emmanuel Eperu Magala, said they rushed her to the hospital around 8 p.m. after she complained of general body weakness.
“We asked her what was causing her pain and she said it was just general body weakness. We gave her some glucose and then decided to rush her to the hospital, but unfortunately she passed away,” Magala said.
The Forum for Democratic Change described the politician as a dedicated party member.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our comrade and dedicated party member, Hon. Sarah Eperou.
Hon. Eperu served in various positions within the party as a former spokesperson for the Women’s League and, until her death, as chairperson of the Kapir County constituency branch in Ngora District. the party said on X.
At the time of his death, Eperu was undergoing dialysis treatment at the Mulago National Referral Hospital.
At press time, the family was arranging to take his remains to the Mulago Hospital mortuary.
