Pte Patrick Byamukama, a 31-year-old UPDF soldier assigned to the 41st Battalion of the 3rd Brigade, was fatally stabbed on Monday night by unidentified assailants.
Speaking on behalf of the Kigezi regional police, Mr. Elly Maate, confirmed the incident and stated that a team of investigators had arrived at the crime scene in Butanda Sub County to begin the investigation.
