The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Taye Atske Selassie, has arrived in Uganda to participate in the African Union Extraordinary Summit on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP).
The summit, hosted at Speke Resort Munyonyo, began on January 9, 2025, and will conclude on January 11, 2025.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, President Selassie was welcomed by Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth, Minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs, along with key Ugandan officials, including Ambassador Rebecca Amuge Otengo, H.E. Dr. Yahya Ssemuddu, Brig. Gen. David Gonyi, AIGP Ubaldo Bamunoba, Mr. Robert Munanura, and a delegation from the Ethiopian Embassy in Uganda led by Ambassador Etsegenet Yimenu.
