Ms. Prosy Mbabazi Akampurira Begumisa, the current Woman MP for Rubanda District and Commissioner of the Parliament of Uganda, is presently serving her second term in office.

Katabazi underscored the importance of citizens participating in the political process with a focus on performance evaluation rather than engaging in abusive or violent behaviors.

Shifting the discussion to the broader electoral landscape, Katabazi seized the opportunity to caution Ugandans against compromising their votes for monetary gain. She urged citizens to consistently demand better service delivery as the primary motivation for their political participation.

In a demonstration of her commitment to community development, Katabazi contributed UGX 1 million out of the UGX 1.2 million that Christians were mobilizing for electric wire installations at Kyokyezo Church of Uganda.
